''Eremophila scaberula'' (rough emu bush) is a critically endangered plant species which is indigenous to Western Australia. It is a low growing shrub with crowded leaves which produces solitary pale to dark purple flowers in the leaf axils predominantly between September and October in its native range. The total wild population is 455 plants occurs in three locations to the south of Moora.〔 The species was declared "Rare Flora" under the Wildlife Conservation Act in 1996 and "Critically Endangered" in 1998.〔 Threats to the population include weed competition, fire, degraded habitat, disturbance from maintenance activities and, conversely, lack of site disturbance.〔 ==References==
